BOOK CELEBRATES TRIUMPH OVER CIRCUMSTANCE

Milwaukee-based Jennifer Stephens presents us with Escape from the Dungeon:  Jennifers Survival Story from the Wrath of Anger, Intimidation and Abuse.  The Dungeon celebrates the survival instinct of 16 children who were abused by their mother over the span of 35 years.

Jennifer Stephens wrote the book as a result of her experiences growing up in a home of tyranny and manipulation and will relate her remarkable story of surviving a childhood marked by a sustained period of abuse.  This moving piece will account how Jennifer was able to triumph over circumstance and demonstrate how the cycle of abuse can be broken.  In addition, Jennifer works with the Child Abuse Prevention Fund and local radio stations by sharing her story to raise money for child abuse awareness.  Because of her life's experiences,Jennifer remains passionate about serving her soldiers and spends much of her off duty time speaking through motivational seminars to schools, charities,  business groups and local community organizations about overcoming obstacles and inspiring others to be the best they can be and businesses succeeding in spite of your circumstances.

Jennifer is a 14 year career Major in the United States Army and has degrees in Finance, International Business, Masters in Business Administration and Global Marketing and currently is in a Juris Doctor program to practice family law.
